This Privacy Policy describes how Glidepath AI, Inc. ("Glidepath," "we", "us" or "our") processes personal information that we collect about users of our platform (“you”) and our Customers through our digital and online properties or services that link to this Privacy Policy (including as applicable, our website located at https://glidepath.com/, web application, electronic communications, and social media pages) as well as our marketing activities, and other activities described in this Privacy Policy (collectively, the “Services”).

This Privacy Policy does not apply to information that we process on behalf of our Customers (such as franchisors) while providing Services to them. Our use of information that we process on behalf of our Customers is governed by our agreements with such Customers. If you have concerns regarding your personal information that we process on behalf of a Customer, please direct your concerns to that Customer.

Information we collect

We collect information when you provide it to us, when you use the Services, and when other sources provide it to us, as further described below.

Information you provide to us. Personal information you may provide to us through the Services includes:

  • ‍Contact information, such as your first and last name, preferred name, address, email address, and phone number.
  • ‍Account information, such as account name, the username and password that you may set to establish an online account on the Services, and any other information that you add to your account profile.
  • Profile information, such as your background, current or past professional experience, business location information (such as current or planned franchise locations), previous franchise transactions and/or applications, financial qualifications, business and investment preferences, and other preferences. This includes information from documents that you upload to the s.
  • Your Input and Output as defined in the User Terms of Service. This content may constitute or contain personal information, depending on the nature of the content you provide, our processing activities, and how it is associated with your account.
  • Communications data based on our exchanges with you, including when you contact us through the Services, or communicate with us via email, phone, chat features, social media, or otherwise.
  • Marketing data, such as your preferences for receiving marketing communications and details about your engagement with them.
  • Other data not specifically listed here, which we will use as described in this Privacy Policy or as otherwise disclosed at the time of collection.

Information collected from other sources.

‍We may obtain information about you from outside sources, including information that we collect directly from third parties and information from third parties that you choose to share with us. These sources include:

  • ‍Public sources, such as public records, government agencies, SEC filings, social media platforms, Franchise Disclosure Documents, and other publicly available sources. We may give you the opportunity to confirm information from public sources.
  • ‍Device information, such as device type, operating system type & version, browser type, IP address, device carrier and manufacturer, device identifiers, advertising identifiers.
  • Location data, such as approximate location.
  • Usage information. To help us understand how you use our Services and to help us improve them, we automatically receive information about your interactions with theServices, such as the pages or other content you view, the searches you conduct, any content you post, and the dates and times of your visits.
  • Other information regarding your interaction with the Services, such as log data, date and time stamps, clickstream data, interactions with marketing or product emails, and ad impressions.
  • Information from Cookies and similar technologies. We and our third-party partners may collect information using cookies, pixel tags, or similar technologies. Our third-party partners, such as analytics and advertising partners, may use these technologies to collect information about your online activities over time and across different services. Cookies are small text files containing a string of alphanumeric characters. We may use both session cookies and persistent cookies. A session cookie disappears after you close your browser. A persistent cookie remains after you close your browser and may be used by your browser on subsequent visits to our Services.

Information collected from other sources.

  • Data providers, such as information services, ad networks, data analytics providers, large language models, and third-party data enrichment providers.
  • Customers, such as franchisors.
  • Service providers that provide services on our behalf or help us operate the Services or our business, such as our artificial intelligence providers.

We may obtain information about you from outside sources, including information that we collect directly from third parties and information from third parties that you choose to share with us. These sources include:

  • ‍Direct marketing. We may send you direct marketing communications and may personalize these messages based on information we have collected. You may opt-out of our marketing communications as described in the Opt-out of communications section.  
  • Interest-based advertising. We and our third-party advertising partners may use cookies, pixels and other technologies to collect information about your interaction (including the data described in the Information We Collect When You Use The Services section above) with the Services, our communications and other third party online services over time, and use that information to serve online ads that they think will interest you. This is called interest-based advertising. We may also share information about our users with these companies to facilitate interest-based advertising to those or similar users on other online properties. Information we collect when you use the Services. We, our service providers, and our advertising partners may automatically collect certain information about you when you use the services such as:

  • ‍Technical operation. To allow the technical operation of the Services.
  • Functionality. To enhance the performance and functionality of the Services.
  • Analytics. To help us understand user activity on the Services, including the volume and demographics of users, which pages are most and least visited and how visitors move around the Services, as well as user interactions with our emails. How we use your information

  • provide Customers with information about you for the purposes of facilitating Connections;

  • enable security features of the Services;
  • personalize the Services, including remembering the devices from which you have previously logged in and remembering your selections and preferences as you navigate the Services;
  • establish and maintain your user profile on the Services;
  • communicate with you about the Services, including by sending Service-related announcements, updates, security alerts, user-to-user communications, and support and administrative messages;
  • communicate with you about events for which you register;
  • understand your needs and interests, and personalize your experience with the Service and our communications;
  • provide support for the Services, and respond to your requests, questions and feedback;
  • to collect and share user testimonials; and
  • fraud prevention and security.

We may use your personal information for the following purposes or as otherwise described at the time we collect personal information from you:

Research and development. We may use your personal information for research and development purposes, including to develop, analyze and improve our products and services. As part of these activities, we may create aggregated, anonymized, and/or de-identified data from personal information, which we may use and share with third parties for any legitimate business purpose. We do not attempt to reidentify deidentified information derived from personal information, except for the purpose of testing whether our deidentification processes comply with applicable law. We do not use (nor authorize third parties to use) Customer Data to train, retrain, fine-tune, or otherwise improve generative artificial intelligence models.

  • Privacy browsers/plug-ins. Use privacy browsers and/or ad-blocking browser plug-ins that let you block tracking technologies.

How we share your information

We may share your personal information with the following parties and as otherwise described in this Privacy Policy, in other applicable notices, or at the time of collection.  

Affiliates.  In some cases, our corporate affiliates might have access to personal information.

Service providers. Third parties that provide services on our behalf or help us operate the Service or our business (such as hosting, internet service providers, information technology, order fulfillment, customer support, online chat functionality providers, email delivery, marketing, consumer research and website/data analytics).

Artificial intelligence providers. To provide certain features, we may transmit your information, including your Inputs, to third-party artificial intelligence service providers (such as OpenAI and Google) that process this information on our behalf as part of generating Outputs and providing the Services. Depending on how you use the Services, this information may include text, documents, and audio recordings or their transcripts. These providers act as our service providers and are permitted to use your Inputs only to provide services to us and as otherwise described in this Privacy Policy and in our agreements with them. Advertising partners / ad networks. Third-party advertising companies for the interest-based advertising purposes described above. These advertising partners may use cookies and similar technologies to collect information about your use of the Services and other online services over time in order to provide interest-based advertising, as described in the ‘Marketing and advertising’ section.

Third parties designated by you. We may share your personal information with third parties where you have instructed us or provided your consent to do so. For example, we may share your profile and other relevant information with franchisors that match your interests and qualifications.

Professional advisors. Professional advisors, such as lawyers, auditors, bankers and insurers, where necessary in the course of the professional services that they render to us.

Authorities and others. Law enforcement, government authorities, and private parties in litigation, as we believe in good faith to be necessary or appropriate for the Compliance and protection purposes described above.

Corporate transactions. We may disclose personal information in the context of actual or prospective business transactions (e.g., investments in Glidepath, financing of Glidepath, public stock offerings, the sale, transfer or merger of all or part of our business, assets or shares, liquidation or reorganization). For example, we may need to share certain personal information with prospective counterparties and their advisers. We may disclose your personal information to an acquirer, successor, or assignee of Glidepath or a portion of our business assets as part of any merger, acquisition, sale of assets, or similar transaction, and/or in the event of an insolvency, bankruptcy, or receivership in which personal information is transferred to one or more third parties as one of our business assets.

Your choices

In this section, we describe the choices available to you.

Access or update your information. If you have registered for an account with us through the Service, you may review and update certain account and profile information by logging into your account and navigating to your account profile and settings.

Opt-out of communications. You may opt-out of marketing-related emails by following the opt-out or unsubscribe instructions at the bottom of the email, or by contacting us. It may take time for your opt-out to be effective. Please note that if you choose to opt-out of marketing-related emails, you may continue to receive service-related and other non-marketing emails.  

Cookies. Most browsers let you remove or reject cookies. To do this, follow the instructions in your browser settings. Many browsers accept cookies by default until you change your settings. Please note that if you set your browser to disable cookies, the Services may not work properly. Blocking images/pixel tags: Most browsers and devices allow you to configure your device to prevent images from loading, so the business hosting the image will not detect that you have viewed a page. To do this, follow the instructions in your particular browser or device settings.

Do Not Track. Some Internet browsers may be configured to send “Do Not Track” signals to the online services that you visit. We currently do not respond to “Do Not Track” signals. To find out more about “Do Not Track,” please visit http://www.allaboutdnt.com.

Advertising choices. You may be able to limit use of your information for interest-based advertising through the following settings and tools:

These choices generally apply only to the specific browser or device where you make them, so you will need to set your preferences on each device and browser you use. We cannot offer any assurances that all of our advertising partners will participate in the opt-out programs described above.

Declining to provide information. We need to collect personal information to provide certain services. If you do not provide the information we identify as required or mandatory, we may not be able to provide those services.

Other sites and services

The Services may contain links to websites, mobile applications, and other online services operated by third parties. In addition, our content may be integrated into web pages or other online services that are not associated with us. These links and integrations are not an endorsement of, or representation that we are affiliated with, any third party. We do not control websites, mobile applications or online services operated by third parties, and we are not responsible for their actions. We encourage you to read the privacy policies of the other websites, mobile applications and online services you use.

Security

We employ technical, organizational and physical safeguards that are designed to protect the personal information we collect. However, security risk is inherent in all Internet and information technologies, and we cannot guarantee the security of your personal information.

International data transfer

We are headquartered in the United States and may process your personal information in the United States and other countries that may not provide the same level of data protection as your home country.  

Children’s Privacy

The Services are not intended for use by anyone under 18 years of age. If you are a parent or guardian of a minor from whom you believe we have collected personal information in a manner prohibited by law, or if information was provided on your behalf when you were under 18, please contact us. If we learn that we have collected personal information through the Services from a child without the consent of the child’s parent or guardian as required by law, we will comply with applicable legal requirements to delete the information.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

The "LAST UPDATED" legend at the top of this Privacy Policy indicates when this Privacy Policy was last revised. We reserve the right to modify this Privacy Policy at any time. We will post any adjustments to the Privacy Policy on this page, and the revised version will be effective when it is posted. Depending on the nature of the change, we may also notify you directly (for example, by email or through the Services) or request your consent to the change.
